Why this matters
Every signup and login in these apps depends on a one-time code. The scripts ship with a few global SMS providers such as Twilio, Nexmo, 2Factor and MSG91. In many countries those routes are expensive, slow, or blocked unless the sender and template are registered locally. When OTPs fail, signups fail.
We add your local provider to the admin SMS settings next to the built-in ones. You enter the API key and sender ID, switch it on, and OTPs go out through it. Where rules require registered templates, such as DLT in India, we match the message format to your approved template so messages are not rejected.

Questions people ask first
Why are my OTP messages not arriving?
Usual causes are an unregistered sender ID, a template that does not match the registered one, or a global route that local carriers filter. A local provider with approved templates fixes most cases.
Can I send OTP on WhatsApp instead of SMS?
Yes. We can send the code through the WhatsApp Business API, with SMS as the fallback when the number is not on WhatsApp.
What do you need from me?
An account with the provider, API credentials, your approved sender ID and templates if your country requires them, and a staging copy of your script.
Will my changes survive a script update?
Official updates replace core files, so custom code has to be re-applied on top of the new version. We keep custom work as separate as the code allows and hand you a list of every file we touched, which makes that re-apply quick. If you want us to do it, we quote it per update.
